Terms & conditions

Last updated: July 2026

These terms cover your use of the British Bird Feeders website and any order you place. The site and shop are operated by DigiSurf Agency LLC ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to these terms - which we have kept short and in plain English on purpose.

1. Orders

When you place an order you will receive an email confirmation. A contract is formed when we dispatch your goods. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, an item is out of stock or mispriced), we will tell you promptly and refund anything you have paid.

2. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout, processed securely by Stripe. If we discover a genuine pricing error before dispatch, we will contact you to confirm or cancel at the correct price.

3. Delivery

UK delivery is free on orders over £20 and £5.99 otherwise. We dispatch within 48 hours and delivery typically takes 7 to 14 days. Full details are on the delivery page.

4. Returns and guarantee

Every order carries our 100% money-back guarantee: 30 days from delivery, full refund, and we pay the return postage. Full details are on the returns page. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which are never affected.

5. Products

We describe every product as accurately as we can, including sizes and capacities. Natural materials such as timber vary a little piece to piece. Product images are illustrative; minor variations in colour or finish are normal.

6. Using the site

Content on this site (text, images, guides) belongs to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission. You are very welcome to share our advice pages with fellow bird feeders.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you ordered, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

8. The legal bits

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes belong to the courts there. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.
